The UNICOR 2/90 Partnership
UNICOR Federal Prison Industries, Inc. (UNICOR FPI) was created over 60 years ago to provide skills training to inmates confined within the Federal Bureau of Prisons. This program is self-funding because it “employs” inmates to manufacture goods sold to Federal Government agencies. Facility signage is among the array of products produced by inmates.
Over the years, UNICOR has made a significant contribution to improving prison safety, reducing recidivism and lowering incarceration costs in the federal prison systems by keeping inmates constructively occupied.
UNICOR and 2/90 Sign Systems (UNICOR 2/90) partner together to provide Federal Government agencies with price-competitive, quality facility signage products. The role of UNICOR 2/90 is to guide the manufacturing process, market and sell the Partnership’s products, and perform customer service.
